What First Aid Course is best for us?
This depends on the level of risk at your workplace, how many employees are present and should also include numbers of visitors present at any one time. To make things simpler to understand the Health and Safety Executive give clear guidance. You say that you offer training 24/7, is that correct?
Today’s workplace has evolved into a 24/7 culture. Here at RTC Training we understand that it can be extremely difficult to facilitate first aid training for staff who work evenings, nights and weekends. So, with this we offer a round the clock training package to suit your rotas.
Are there any additional costs?
No! Our standard First Aid Training Courses are priced based on 12 candidates attending at your workplace. The more candidates that attend, the cheaper the course.
Can you provide training at our workplace?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves in our low cost approach to first aid training. By providing first aid training courses at your workplace we are able to minimise costs and keep our prices very competitive.
Do your trainers have the relevant qualifications?
Yes! All of our trainers hold a current First Aid at Work certificate or are registered healthcare professionals. We are also ready for the change in requirements set to come into force on the 1st of October 2015 where all instructors must hold a minimum of level 3 in Education and Training.
Do you have a quality assurance plan in place?
Yes! Our quality assurance plan demonstrates our promise to you to deliver a quality service every time.
Do you teach to current accepted First Aid practices?
Yes! We use the latest Resuscitation Council guidelines, current first aid teaching practices with additional frontline knowledge.
Does your training cover an appropriate syllabus?
Yes, our first aid training courses follow an appropriate syllabus set out by the Health and Safety Executive. However we are able to adapt courses to meet your business requirements.
Do you issue certificates and how long do they last?
We issue certificates following successful completion of a course and receipt of payments in full. Certificates last for 3 years from the date of final assessment and there is an option available for candidates to attend 12 month refresher courses.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of candidates per course?
Yes! In order to ensure quality of teaching, courses require a minimum of 5 candidates and a maximum of 12 per instructor.
NB. We are able to facilitate a course for more than 12 candidates if required by use of additional instructors.
